To the terminal
The Tanah Merah ferry terminal in Singapore is 10 minutes from Changi International airport or 30 minutes from the city centre.
You can find out more about the visa requirements for Bintan here. If you require a visa on arrival you can obtain one either by paying IDR500,000 (per person) in cash to immigration when you arrive, or prior to your trip via this online portal for e-visas. Our address details, which you will need for the e-visa application, can be found here. We recommend bringing cash and getting the visa on arrival in the ferry terminal because the staff at the VIP arrival lounge assist in this process so there are no queues and it tends to be the easier of the two options.
