WINE AND DINE

Our kitchen serves guests with the freshest ingredients available, prepared with a fusion of Indonesian and international flavours. Barbequed seafood, local dishes and tropical fruits feature prominently on the menu as well as a variety of fresh vegetables, free-range chicken and eggs from our farm on Bintan.

Dining

The daily menus are put up on blackboards in the dining room and changes according to the seasonal availability of ingredients from local markets. The emphasis is on the freshest ingredients prepared simply. Barbequed seafood, local dishes and tropical fruits feature prominently on the menu.

The team in the kitchen is happy to tailor them according to any specific dietary requirements. We just ask that you let us know in advance. This also helps reduce food waste which is important given the neighbouring communities are less fortunate.

Daily board charge

The daily board charge includes 3 meals and most activities and is charged at S$95++ per day/per adult. This also includes most activities but excludes drinks although drinking water, tea and brewed coffee are provided free of charge. Note espresso coffees are charged for. Afternoon or morning tea is available on request.

Cookbook

After years of guests requesting for recipes from the island, we decided to compile our favourites into a cookbook. Island Life: Recipes from Nikoi and Cempedak Islands was published at the end of 2023 and is available for purchase in various locations: online, on the island, in bookstores across Singapore and Indonesia, and as an eBook. The collection features our beloved recipes along with stories from our islands and beyond, and is currently in its second edition.

 

Beverages

A reasonably priced selection of beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks is available. Our barmen are famous for their cocktails both classic and cocktails with a fusion of local flavours. Be sure to also check out our excellent range of carefully sourced Rums, Gins, Whisky and other spirits to complete your island getaway.

Note that all prices in Singapore dollars and are exclusive of 11% tax and 10% service that we are obliged to charge.

Bring your own wine

We will allow guests to BYO wine but please note the alcohol limit for Indonesia is 1 litre per person and we charge corkage of S$25++ per bottle of wine. We do not allow BYO spirits or beer. Each villa is equipped with a cool box that can be stocked with ice, and drinks are available upon request.

We offer a fusion of local and international flavours that even the most discerning taste buds will enjoy. If you have any particular dislikes or allergies then please let our staff know and we can adapt the menu to suit your needs. Our kitchen is experienced with preparing food for guests with a range of allergies and severity. We recommend letting us know about any dietary requirements prior to your arrival.
